This red cherry tomato is from the same breeding as Sweet Aperitif. Whilst sharing many of the desireable attributes of its sibling, it has a somewhat lower acidity, making Bite size a super-sweet variety. It produces long, moderately branched trusses of fruit weighing about 8 to 12 grams, which stand well on the plant without splitting. Bite Size is full of flavour and has great potential for encouraging healthy eating habits.
Sow from February onwards in pots. Will need heat to germinate. Plant out in greenhouse from May onwards or outdoors after hardening off in June. Do not allow the plants to get too cold as they will develop a purple tint and growth will slow down.
