Acanthus mollis Bears Breeches
This wonderfully structured perennial plant can produce flowers in rose and white from July - August. The plant can grow to over 90cm tall, and makes a great border plant.
The best time to sow is spring and summer, sowing at a temperature of about 5C. Cover with a thick layer of medium Vermiculite. Germination usually takes from 3-4 weeks, though sometimes much longer.
