Amsonia orientalis

Amsonia orientalis has clusters of beautiful blue flowers and lance foliage. This is delightful hardy perennial which reaches a height of 60cm

Sow the seeds at any time but be aware the seed may need a period of cold in their wet compost to break dormancy. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of fine grit. Germination may take a few months. If no germination after 3 months then a 4 week period in refrigerated conditions to simulate winter.
