First year flowering hardy perennial, ideal for rockeries. Cushion-shaped foliage and long-stemmed globular blooms. Grows to heights of 15-20cm.

Sow in spring or summer, at around 20°C, and cover with vermiculite. Germination takes 3-4 weeks. Especially sensitive to overwatering.
