This is a true cottage garden classic just like grandma had, which is easy to grow and long lasting in borders. This delightful long-spurred Aquilegias have impressive 7.5cm wide blooms in a bright and uplifting colour range. Height: 90cm.
Sow spring to mid-summer in a good seed compost just covering the seed with compost. Germination can take from 1-3 months at 15-21C, to speed this up seal in a polythene bag after sowing and leave in a refrigerator for 3 weeks then place in warmth. Inspect regularly and remove if any start to germinate in the fridge. Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm pots. Move to a cold frame or plunge the pots up to their rims in a sheltered site outdoors and plant out in autumn 30cm apart.

Normally all orders made by 1pm on working days will be shipped the same day although it may be a bit longer at busy times. If you have ordered larger quantities of commercial seeds delivery can be slightly longer. If we encounter any problems we will contact you.
