Lupin - Dwarf Gallery Mixed

This lupin features a magnificent range of dwarf bicoloured flowers in about 3 months from sowing. Each plant produces an abundance of good sized flower spikes which are excellent for cutting. It flowers early in the summer. Height 23-50cm.

Soak the seeds overnight in cold water before sowing. Sow from late winter to mid-summer 3mm deep in pots or boxes of a good free draining seed compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 18-21 days at 15-21C. Transplant when large enough to handle into ordinary 8cm pots. Later plant out 6cm apart into well drained soil in sun or part shade. They can also be sown outdoors in spring where they are to flower and thinned out to 6cm apart.
