Cornflower - Dwarf Blue Midget
This fantastic little cornflower is rather like a ball of colour. The flowers are lower and neater than any we believe you will have seen before. Full of bloom at 15cm high. Ends up about 30cm high. It is easy to grow and suitable for beds, borders and containers. Height: 20-30cm.
Optimum Germination Temperature: 65-70F. Sowing Depth: 6mm. Sowing Time: Sow March to April or August to September for overwintering. The seed should be sown outdoors where it is to flower in spring or autumn and thinned out to 30cm apart. Sown in the late summer/early autumn to produce even better plants for flowering next summer, and final thinning should be left until the spring so that the plants are about 45cm apart.
