Thompson & Morgan Vegetable Runner Bean Black Knight - 20 Seeds

A succulent runner bean with minimal strings that yields abundant pods transitioning from green to dark purple/almost black as they mature. Legend has it that it was cultivated by the Bishop of Shrewsbury, Edmund Knight, and subsequently distributed to nearby parishioners in the late 1800s. Despite its rugged appearance, the beans remain tender and flavorful even as they mature.
