Title

Aubergine Dwarf ‘Wand Ivory’ Seeds

A compact and highly decorative dwarf aubergine, ‘Wand Ivory’ produces elegant, creamy ivory-coloured fruits that stand out beautifully in patio pots, containers, and small garden spaces. Despite their unusual pale shade, the fruits have excellent flavour — tender, mild, and perfect for grilling, roasting, or adding to Mediterranean dishes.

Plants remain small and manageable, developing a neat branching habit that carries multiple fruits at once. Ideal for urban growers, greenhouse benches, balconies, or anywhere space is limited, ‘Wand Ivory’ is both productive and ornamental, offering a striking contrast to typical purple varieties.

How to Grow Aubergine Dwarf ‘Wand Ivory’

Sow indoors from January to April, keeping seeds warm at 20–25°C until germination. Sow on the compost surface and cover lightly with a fine layer of compost or vermiculite. Keep evenly moist.

Transplant seedlings into individual pots once they have true leaves. Move plants into final containers 20–30 cm wide, and harden off gradually before placing outdoors after frost.

Grow in full sun in a warm, sheltered spot. Water consistently and feed every 1–2 weeks with a tomato fertiliser once flowers appear. Dwarf aubergines typically don’t need staking, though small support may help with heavier crops.

Harvest when fruits are firm, glossy, and evenly ivory-coloured.
