Ornamental Grass Blue Fescue Seeds – Festuca glauca
Ornamental Grass Blue Fescue Seeds produce neat, compact clumps of striking silvery-blue foliage that provide year-round colour and texture in the garden. Known botanically as Festuca glauca, this elegant ornamental grass is prized for its fine, arching leaves and tidy habit, making it perfect for borders, rockeries, gravel gardens, and containers.
During summer, slender stems topped with soft buff-coloured flower heads rise above the foliage, adding movement and interest while attracting bees and other beneficial insects. The evergreen blue foliage remains attractive throughout the seasons, providing structure even in winter.
Easy to grow and drought tolerant once established, Blue Fescue is an excellent choice for modern gardens, Mediterranean-style planting schemes, and low-maintenance landscapes.
