Carrot Nominator F1
Very early production. Nominator produces attractive, cylindrical roots which are relatively strong compared with other very early types. Nominator has relatively short tops and good resistance to bolting. Sowing made in polytunnels in October are harvested in Early June. Crops sown in Feb and March undercover will be harvested Mid June to late July while when sown as a main crop April to June provides the harvest from August.
Sow carrot seeds thinly in drills in prepared soils. They do best where there the soil has few stones. Cover the seeds and water. Germination should take place in about 2 weeks. To reduce the risk of carrot fly it is best to avoid thinning the small carrots
