How to Grow Chrysanthemum ‘Snowland’ from Seed
Sow Chrysanthemum Snowland seeds indoors in early spring. Use seed trays or small pots filled with fine, well-drained seed compost. Sow the seeds thinly on the surface and lightly press them into the compost — do not cover, as light helps germination.
Water gently and place the trays in a bright position at a temperature of 18–22°C. Keep the compost evenly moist but not wet. Germination usually takes 10–14 days.
Once seedlings are large enough to handle, carefully transplant them into individual pots. Grow on in cool, bright conditions, watering regularly. Begin feeding lightly once plants are established.
Harden off young plants gradually before planting outdoors after the risk of frost has passed. Plant out in a sunny position, spacing 10–15 cm apart. Water well after planting and feed every two weeks throughout the growing season to encourage compact growth and continuous flowering.
Snowland will flower through the summer, producing masses of neat, white blooms ideal for edging and containers.
