Title

Courgette (Round Squash) ‘Cue Ball’ F1 Seeds

Cue Ball F1 is a highly productive hybrid round squash (courgette) valued for its smooth, pale green fruits delicately mottled with white and its excellent eating quality. This vigorous variety forms an upright bush habit, making plants easy to manage, harvest, and space efficiently in the garden.

Reaching maturity in just 40–45 days, Cue Ball F1 produces a concentrated fruit set followed by continuous cropping when harvested regularly. The round fruits are ideal for stuffing, slicing, or grilling, and their uniform shape and flavour make them a favourite with both home gardeners and growers.

Reliable, fast-growing, and easy to harvest, Cue Ball F1 is an excellent choice for UK gardens, allotments, raised beds, and larger containers.

How to Grow Courgette ‘Cue Ball’ F1

Sow seeds indoors from April to May in individual pots at 20–22°C, planting seeds on their side around 2 cm deep. Alternatively, direct sow outdoors from late May to June once all risk of frost has passed and soil temperatures have warmed.

Transplant indoor-raised plants after hardening off, spacing plants 60–75 cm apart. Choose a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, moisture-retentive soil enriched with compost or well-rotted manure.

Water regularly, especially during dry spells, and feed every 10–14 days once flowering begins to maintain steady growth and fruiting.

Harvest fruits little and often while still young for best flavour and to encourage continuous production.
