Dierama Snowbells

Dierama, also known as Angel's Fishing Rod, is such an elegant plant. The large, flared milky white bells must look stunning, especially with the occasional bicolour or pale pink flower adding a touch of variety.

How to sow and grow

Cover with a 5mm layer of compost or grit and keep the area lightly moist in a cool, covered spot outdoors. No additional heat is necessary as these seeds typically germinate in the spring. Once seedlings have sprouted, transplant them into 3-inch pots and eventually into quality garden soil.
