Title

Hot Chilli Pepper ‘Fiery Flames’ Seeds

Fiery Flames is a compact, early-maturing Capsicum annuum chilli pepper bred for high productivity and strong visual appeal. With its neat plant habit and upward-facing fruits, this variety is ideal for patio containers, pots, and compact growing spaces.

Plants produce an impressive 50+ small, pointed chillies per plant, each around 3 cm long, ripening from deep green to bright red. Despite their size, these chillies pack a serious punch, reaching 86,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). Their clean, direct heat makes them perfect for slicing into hot salads, chopping into stir-fries, or adding intensity to Asian-style dishes.

Fiery Flames performs exceptionally well in greenhouses and outdoors in pots. Its compact habit makes it especially suitable for commercial pot production, finishing neatly in 9–10 cm pots before being transferred into larger containers for continued cropping.

How to Grow Hot Chilli Pepper ‘Fiery Flames’

Sow seeds indoors from January to March using a heated propagator or warm windowsill. Maintain temperatures of 20–25°C for reliable germination. Sow thinly and cover lightly with compost.

Transplant seedlings into small pots once large enough to handle. Plants can be finished in 9–10 cm pots for compact growth or potted on into larger containers for heavier cropping.

Grow in a greenhouse or place outdoors in a warm, sheltered position once all risk of frost has passed. Water regularly and feed weekly with a balanced or high-potash fertiliser once flowering begins.

Harvest fruits as they turn red for maximum heat and flavour.

⚠️ Handling advice: Chillies are hot. Wash hands thoroughly after handling fruits and avoid touching eyes or skin.
