This is an easy-to-grow perennial that produces dense clusters of small crimson flowers on branching upright stems that grow to a height of around 75cm.
Sow from early April to early June either in open ground or in a cold frame. Thin out seedlings to 5cm apart, and plant out 30cm apart in September or October. Flowers will appear the following summer.
