The Kong series is noted for its large leaves. The tall plants (45 - 55cm) are well branches and make a great display in the garden as well as a stunning pot plant. The leaves of the Mosaic variety have a varied reds and green on each leaf.
Sow the seeds in pots or trays in quality seed compost, and put in a warm place where they will germinate readily. Ideal temperature 20- 25C Do not cover the seed. Germination take between 7-21 days. Sow at any time. Pot up when large enough to handle. They can be grown as a houseplant or planted in the garden after hardening off when all risk of frost has past.
