This wild Bergamot is a native of North America with wonderful lavender flowers and scented foliage. It is a hardy perennial and reaches the height of 1m. This plant is a favourite of butterflies. Sow in pots and keep at a temperature of about 20C. The germination time is variable from 2 - 6 weeks. It may flower in the first year from a spring sowing.
