Strawberry - Gasana
This variety has very large deep pink flowers produced in abundance, followed by bright red fruits from early June to mid September. It can produce a harvest of upto 1kg during the season. This plant is ideal for hanging baskets.
The germination of these seeds can be a bit slow and erratic. Sow from February onwards undercover, keep temperature at 21C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks. Pot up into individual pots and harden off before planting the seedlings out.
