Gerbera Jamesonii Hybrids
This variety produces large flowers that are in a range of colours, and they are ideal as cut flowers.
Sow in a good seed compost in a heated greenhouse in seed trays or modules at 20C. Just cover seeds with sieved compost. Prick off when large enough to handle, later transplanting into pots. Keep them near light and water moderately. Grow in a greenhouse or sunny, sheltered outdoor site. Pick off dead flowers to encourage further flower production.
