When March to May.
Where In a prepared seed bed in flowering position.
How Sow thinly in rows 15cm apart. Cover with 0.5cm fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
Care When large enough thin to 15cm apart. Keep moist and weed free.
Flowers June to October.
For indoor sowing
When February to April.
Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 10-15°C.
Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in flowering position.
Flowers June to October Trim plants as flowers fade for a second flush of blooms.
