When February to April.
Where In trays of moist compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 21-28 days.
Care When large enough transplant 10cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position.
Flowers June to September, the following year (May flower the same year if sown early).

How Sow thinly in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist.
Care When large enough thin to 10cm apart. Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position in autumn. Trim plants back as soon as flowers fade to help them clump up.
