Where In a prepared seed bed.
How Sow thinly, cover lightly with 1.5cm of fine soil and keep moist. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care When approx. 10cm tall transplant to final position with 60cm between plants and rows. Firm in well and keep moist.
Harvest July to December.
For indoor sowing.
When April to May.
Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx. 13°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
Care Transplant to further trays if necessary. When approx. 10cm tall stand outside for a few days. Transplant to final position with 60cm between plants and rows. Firm in well, keep moist and weed free.
Harvest July to October. Protect curds from sunlight by folding in
the leaves.
