‘Flowering Pak Choi’ with tasty leaves, shoots and flower buds. One of China’s favourite leafy vegetables. Use as baby leaf or just before flowering. For outdoor sowing
When May to September.
Where In a prepared seed bed.
How Sow thinly in rows 40cm apart. Cover with 1.5cm fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks. Seedlings appear 14-21 days.
Care Leave unthinned for baby leaves or thin out to 25cm apart for mature plants. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvest July to November. Take whole heads or for baby leaves cut a few at a time from approx. 5cm high, allowing leaves to regrow for 2-3 further cuts. Baby leaf crops can also be grown in well watered containers.
