When January to April.
Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 23cm apart in growing position. Pinch out growing tip to make bushier plants. Keep moist and weed free. Any flowers should be pinched off to keep foliage looking its best. Will survive mild win
Foliage June to October, small yellow flowers may form from August. Pick off flower heads to keep plants compact and the foliage looking at its best.
