Where In a prepared seed bed in flowering position.
How Sow thinly in rows 15cm apart. Cover lightly with 0.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 21-35 days.
Care When large enough thin to 35cm apart. Keep moist and weed free.
Flowers July to September, the following year.
For indoor sowing

Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or a propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C.
Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise to outside conditions. Transplant 35cm apart in flowering position from summer onwards. Keep moist and weed free.
Flowers July to September, the following year. Grows in dry, hot spots in the garden Great for flower arranging.
