When March to May or September to October.
Where In a prepared seed bed in flowering position.
How Sow thinly in rows 20cm apart. Cover lightly with 0.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Make 2-3 sowings for a longer flowering season.
Care When large enough thin to 20cm apart. Keep moist and weed free. Protect late sowings with cloches in winter.
Flowers June to October. Late sowings flower the following year. Can be sown directly into pots and tubs for easy colour.
