Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, do not cover seed with compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 20-25°C. Seedlings appear 21-42 days.
Care Remove cover when seedings appear. When large enough transplant singly to 7.5cm pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions. Transplant 30cm apart in flowering position from summer onwards.
Foliage All year round Do not allow to dry out and provide protection from excessive cold and winter wet.
