Where In large pots, containers, grow bags or a seed bed.
How Sow thinly in a pot or tub approx. 30cm diameter and 25cm deep, or in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care For baby leaves, thin to 5cm apart if plants are crowded. Keep moist and weed free at all times.
Harvest April to October. Pick individual baby leaves as required, a few from each plant, they will regrow for up to 4 cuts. Pick larger leaves once mature. Leaves get hotter as they mature. The attractive plants can be grown in a flower border if garden space is limited.
