When August to September.
Where In a prepared seed bed in a sheltered, sunny site.
How Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart. Cover with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist.
Care March to April thin to 15cm apart, use thinnings for salads or transplant them to grow on. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvest June to August. When tops turn yellow, bend them over to assist ripening.
