An excellent quality variety with long pointed pods that are crammed with up to 12 plump and juicy peas in each. Providing high yields of easy to harvest, early crops with good resistance to Fusarium. The large healthy pods are good enough for the showbench. For outdoor sowing
When March to early June.
Where In a prepared seed bed, in flat drills 15cm wide and 5cm deep. Protect early sowings with cloches.
How Sow in a zig-zag pattern along the drill allowing 5cm between seeds. Space drills 60cm apart. Cover with 5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 10-18 days.
Care Protect younger plants from birds with twigs or netting. Provide support with pea sticks or netting for easier picking, especially in windy locations. Keep moist and weed free at all times.
Harvest May to October. Pick regularly for the best yields. Make 2 or 3 sowings for a longer harvest.
