Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly. Do not cover seed with compost. Cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 10-15°C. Higher temperatures may inhibit germination. Keep out of direct sunlight. Keep moist, do not allow compost to dry out. Seedlings appear 21-42 days. Care When seedlings appear remove cover. When large enough transplant to individual small pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions. Transplant 15cm apart in flowering position from late summer onwards. Flowers March to May, and occasionally again in autumn. Bring one or two plants into the house
as pot plants, just before flowering.
