Johnsons - Stock (selectable) Hot Cakes - 40 Seeds

Fragrant and selectable for double flowers. Great for cutting, bedding and containers. Can be repeat sown for flowers from spring to autumn. For indoor sowing
When January to May.
Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. Make 2 or 3 sowings for a longer flowering season.
Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. To select double flowered seedlings, reduce the temperature to approx. 10°C. once true leaves have formed. (Seedlings will be light or dark leaved, the light leaved ones are the double ones.) When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in flowering position. Flowers April to October. Use the fragrant single flowered plants to fill gaps in a border.
