Where In 7.5cm pots of seed compost.
How Sow singly, cover with 1.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15°C. Seedlings appear 7-21 days.
Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant 40cm apart in each direction, in squares to help pollination. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvest August to September.

Where In a prepared seed bed in growing position.
How Sow 1-2 seeds together with 40cm between groups. Cover with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist.
Care Thin to one strong seedling per group.
Harvest August to September. For best quality grow isolated from other corns, especially ‘supersweet’ types.
