Where In a prepared seed bed in growing position or directly into large pots.
How Sow thinly in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. For continuous crops, sow every 2-3 weeks. Protect early sowings with cloches. Seedlings appear 7-14 days.
Care For baby leaves no thinning is required. For mature plants, when large enough thin to 20cm apart. Ensure plants are well watered and do not dry out.
Harvest April to November. Pick individual baby leaves as required, the plants will regrow for 3-4 cuts or harvest whole mature plants as required. Place pots on a tray that can be filled with water, to provide constant moisture to the roots.
