How Sow thinly then cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. If germination is erratic place in a refrigerator for 2-3 weeks, then return to the warmth. Repeat sow annually for flowers in successive years.
Care When large enough to handle transplant to individual 7.5cm pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions. Transplant 45cm apart in September to October.
Flowers July to September, the following year. Do not deadhead, allow birds to feed on the seed heads in autumn.
