Product Description
Lettuce Buttercrunch
This variety is actually somewhere between a butterhead and crisp head. It has soft outer leaves but with a creamy green heart with a much crisper texture. It produces medium to large heads.
Sow from April onwards in modules ready to plant out from late spring onwards, with spacing of 35cm apart.
We often plant lettuce under the runner beans and harvest them before the bean foliage gets too thick. A great space saver.
