A modern variety for high yields of fine, stringless beans which have outstanding flavour.

Plants have improved resistance to pests and disease and are fast maturing, providing provide generous crops from summer into autumn. Best in fertile and moist soil. Beans measure 15cm(6in) in length.

Sow indoors: April to May, in pots of moist compost. Sow one for two seeds per pot, cover with 2.5cm of fine compost. Cover pots with glass or polythene. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx. 15-20oC. Seedlings appear between 7-14 days. Remove cover when seedlings appear. Stand outside for a few days (late May, avoiding frosts). Transplant seedlings 25cm apart in rows of 45cm apart. Support with twigs in windy sites is necessary. Keep moist and seed free.

Harvest: June to October, pick regularly to encourage further cropping.

Sow outdoors: May to early July, in a prepared seed bed, delay sowings if soil is cold or waterlogged. Sow two seeds together 25cm apart, in rows 45cm apart. Cover with 5cm of fine soil. Keep moist. When large enough then to strongest seedling.

Harvest: July to October, pick regularly to encourage further cropping.
