Unusual annual flowering 'Sweet William' Flowering in their first year to produce charming and incredibly striking displays of cottage garden style Sweet Williams. Perfect for mixed borders and cut flower displays. Winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit for reliability and good performance.Part of the seed range produced by Mr Fothergill�s Seeds in partnership with the RHS. Sow February to May in trays of moist compost. Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at 15-20�C. Keep moist. Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Grow on at 15�C. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Then transplant 20cm apart in flowering position in June. Keep moist and weed free at all times. Flowers July to October, the same year. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering Late sowings will flower the following year
