This is the variety that is used all over Europe, and features flat, dark green leaves with the most outstanding flavour of all the varieties.

Sow from February to July in modules; it requires a germination temperature of 10C - 25C. This will give a harvest from July onwards. If you want an earlier harvest, try a September sowing.
