This is a traditional ‘cut and come again’ leaf beet from Italy, grown for its fine tasting greens of good texture. It is easy to grow, and very hardy, enabling the gardener to have an all year supply. This variety is also very decorative and makes a striking edge to a border.
Sow thinly direct into growing site from April to August in rows 30cm apart. Thin out seedlings when large enough to handle to 20cm apart.
