Organic Herb Sage Seeds

Sage is a popular evergreen herb which needs cutting back to maintain its shape. Grows to a height of 60cm. The leaves can be harvest at any time for use in cooking.

Early sowing can be done underglass from February. Sow in seed trays and lightly cover with compost. Grow at a temperature of 15 - 20C When large enough to handle pot on into individual post. Grow on in cooler conditions before hardening off and planting out after the last frost. Plant out 30cm apart, Direct sowings can be made from April onwards, thin to 15cm apart before planting into the final position. Small plants can be grown on indoors to get a year round harvest.
