Pepper Friggitello

This pepper is a very popular heritage Italian variety which can be grilled or fried whole. It is an RHS AGM winner. The plant produces large quantities of slim horn type peppers that ripen to sweet tasting red fruits. The plant will grow up to 1m high. Ideal for the greenhouse.

How to Sow and Grow

Sow the seed indoors in warm conditions from January onwards. The ideal temperature for gemination is around 21C when germination will take place from 10 days. When they have germinated they can be grown on in slightly lower temperatures around 15 – 18C Plant them in the greenhouse in late spring or outdoors in a sheltered spot when the risk of frost has passed.
