Pumpkin ‘Spark’ F1 Seeds
Pumpkin Spark F1 is a visually striking miniature hybrid pumpkin prized for its unusual colour, bold striping, and compact size. The flattened fruits feature wide ribs, a warm yellow-orange base, and vivid deep orange stripes, making them a standout choice for autumn displays, table centrepieces, and creative carving projects.
Fruits are small and uniform, typically weighing around 0.5 lb (230 g) and measuring approximately 9 cm (3.5") in diameter, which makes them ideal for decorative use where consistency and impact matter. Spark F1 combines ornamental beauty with strong plant performance, including intermediate resistance to powdery mildew, helping ensure a healthier, more reliable crop.
As an F1 hybrid, Spark offers excellent vigour and uniformity, making it suitable for home gardeners, market growers, and anyone looking to add something different to their pumpkin selection.

How to Grow Pumpkin ‘Spark’ F1
Sow seeds indoors from April to May in individual pots at 20–22°C, planting seeds on their side around 2–3 cm deep. Alternatively, direct sow outdoors from late May to June once all risk of frost has passed and the soil has warmed.
Harden off indoor-grown plants before planting out. Space plants generously, allowing 90–120 cm between plants, and grow in a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, moisture-retentive soil enriched with compost or well-rotted manure.
Water regularly, especially during dry periods, and feed throughout the growing season to support steady growth and fruit development.
Harvest fruits in late summer to early autumn once fully coloured and the skins are firm. Cure briefly in a dry, airy place to improve appearance and storage life.
