Watercress Nasturtium officinale

This reliable perennial has nutritious, round, dark-green leaves, and a spicy, pungent flavour. Watercress is rich in vitamins and minerals.

Sow in trays in spring for planting out, or sow direct in drills, in August, and thin to 10cm spacing. It is a vigorous variety, which requires moist conditions. Remove any flowers and cut leaves regularly.
