Bergamot Monarda Didyma

This variety features showy flowers in shades of pink/purple which can be dried. The leaves have a citrus tang to them and make delightful teas. It grows to about 60cm.

Sow from mid-May to late June in boxes or pots, in cold frames or covered with glass or polythene. When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into pots or boxes and grow on until ready for planting out in September or October.
