Sweet Peas in their many colours are the perfect addition to any garden. Alan Williams is a spencer type which is beautifully scented. The flowers are mid-blue and ideal for cut flowers.
How to Sow and Grow
Sweet pea seeds can be planted in the autumn or spring with great results. Ideally plant into pots in a cold greenhouse or windowsill. When the plants are around 10cm tall then pinch out the tips which will result in stronger bushy plants. The plants can be planted out in their final position in mid to late spring. Keep the plants well-watered and feed regularly with a high potash fertiliser to encourage new flowers. Pick flowers and deadhead regularly.
