Watermelon - Charleston Gray
This variety can grow to a good size in the right conditions. The fruits are an elongated shape reaching 60cm long with a grey/green skin. The flesh is crisp, red and very sweet.
Sow in a greenhouse, harden off to plant out after the frost has passed. Ideally plant out on a ridge for a harvest in August and September.
