Crosswort Cruciata laevipes

Crosswort is a tufted, winter-green perennial that has small, pale yellow flowers. The plant flowers from April to June. It is usually found in undisturbed habitats including woodland edges, hedgerows etc. It tolerates semi-shade.

The seed is best sown in the autumn as it requires a period of chilling to break the dormancy.
