Greater Burnet-Saxifage - Pimpinella Saxifrage
Greater Burnet-Saxifage is a tall grassland perennial which reaches 1m in height. The stems are hollow, and the umbel flowers, either white or pink, appear from July to September. It is taller with coarser vegetation than Burnet-saxifrage and is found on roadsides, hedge banks, woodland edges and similar locations in chalky soils.
Sow in the autumn as it requires cold for germination.
